Hello, Hong Kong!

As many others before me, I have decided to leave my home country in the hopes of settling abroad. This, of course, involves finding employment.

Who Am I?

My name is Balint Tanka, aged 27, born in the Slovak republic. I´m a holder of two postgraduate academic titles and an experienced and driven Sales and Marketing Manager, who´s fluent in 3 languages – English, Hungarian and Slovak, while I can effectively communicate in most Slavic languages. In addition, I currently attend a Mandarin Chinese course, where I´m making rapid progress.

My previous occupation as a Sales and Marketing Manager in the highest grossing rental car company in my home country gave me insight into the world of Sales Management, Creative Marketing Solutions and Customer Care, be it B2B or B2C.  The particular size of the company required me to oversee a multitude of operations, starting from creating a pricing strategy and effective marketing communication, processing orders and managing the workforce. All of these were essential to the company´s operations, with the goal to provide our clients a service to the highest standards. During my tenure at the company I took upon myself to build meaningful relationships with customers and helped it become the highest rated company locally in its field.

As you can see, I decided to go with an unconventional approach when it comes to securing a job. I´ve always had a knack for creative solutions and it was obvious from the beginning that I will be attacking this from a different angle than most. I´m hoping to take this idea one step further and make it into an effective marketing tool for businesses and individuals alike.
